Andrew Bedell, Esq.

Andrew Bedell was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, but obtained his undergraduate degree in Criminology from Colorado State University. Upon graduation, he immediately gained employment at a Greeley workers’ compensation law firm fighting for the medical treatment and lost wages of injured workers. He loved the arguments posed by the employment law context, such as whether a worker constitutes an employee and what acts are within the “course and scope” of ones’ duties. The significant degree of change brought about by the attorneys he worked for inspired him to attend law school and practice law for himself.

Andrew then sought adventure in Nebraska and enrolled in the Creighton Law School. He developed a fondness for small towns and rural areas when he accepted a law clerk position at Waite, McWha and Heng in North Platte, Nebraska. He loved helping farmers with the purchase and sale of land and defending local governments against claims for damages.

In his third year of law school, Andrew discovered his passion for litigation. Andrew had the privilege of enrolling in Creighton Law School’s Scientific Evidence course. The course involved student-led mock trials where participants tendered expert witnesses under Daubert, conducted direct and cross examination, and responded to evidentiary objections. Andrew’s performance in this course qualified him for Creighton’s National Trial Team, which competed against other law schools in a mock trial setting. Andrew’s practice and attention to detail helped his team advance to the semifinals of the Regional Tournament.

Upon admission to the Colorado Bar, Andrew immediately began practicing at Law One, and represents clients in Personal Injury, Family, and Estate Planning matters. Andrew’s attention to detail and creative thinking provides for customized approaches to legal representation to fit each client’s needs. Andrew provides his clients with available choices and consequences. He prides himself on being able to explain legal issues plainly and will speak at length to ensure his clients can make informed decisions.

Andrew loves to get outside whenever possible and ski, mountain bike, or backpack through the mountains. He is also an avid golfer, but based on his average score, he should probably stick with practicing law.
