Janna Novak
Before joining the legal field, Janna Novak built a diverse career spanning across finance and retail fashion management, a background that shapes everything about how she works today. When COVID prompted a career reset, she returned to what had always interested her and earned her paralegal certificate through an ABA-approved program at the Community College of Aurora.
Janna currently focuses on family law and estate law, areas that connect naturally to her finance background and her eye for detail. Her approach to every case starts with thorough preparation: reading through filings, reviewing notes, and building a clear picture of who the client is and what they need before jumping in.
She believes communication is the foundation of good legal work, not just between the people working a case, but with the client every step of the way. For Janna, keeping clients informed isn’t just a courtesy, it’s one of the most important things she can do for them.
Janna knows that people come to family and estate attorneys during some of the hardest moments of their lives. Her goal in every client conversation is simple: speak plainly, listen closely, and make sure they feel supported, not just represented.
Outside the office, Janna is an avid brewery-goer, a dedicated member of a year-round softball league, and a trivia night regular. She’s also been gradually jumping into more Colorado camping trips with friends, a pursuit made much easier by a well-equipped camper.
