About Joseph M. Elio, Esq.

Mr. Elio, a Colorado native, has a diverse background in law with an emphasis in litigation, achieved through his diverse experience as a Deputy District Attorney, a United States Securities and Exchange Enforcement Attorney, an Associate Municipal judge, and a seasoned Personal Injury, Family Law and Probate attorney. Although Mr. Elio believes that it is most often in the best interests of his client to negotiate resolution through mediation and other settlement vehicles, he has extensive litigation experience in the event that settlement is unsuccessful. Mr. Elio has a dynamic background in which he has litigated cases in the following areas of law: Bankruptcy, Debt Collections, Contracts, Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Bad Faith, Securities, Landlord/Tenant disputes, and Probate Litigation. Mr. Elio has also successfully argued appellate cases before the Colorado Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
